lost address book

I was forwarding a message and when I hit the TO:, it brought up a search box
rather than my address book (list of contacts). I tried it with a clean
email, same thing. I shut down Outklook, reopened and tried again. Same
result.
 
State your Outlook version and how your address book view is configured.
