I have just discovered a problem with some of the basic management tools When I attemp to start the System Info application the window opens and the Righ-Pane displays' a message to the effect that Windows Management Interprocessor is missing some files or that files are corrupted? When I start the process "wmimngt..msc" and attempt to open a new process it tells me that: "Cannot load Remote Access Connection Manager Service. Error 711: A configuration err on this computer with win32 part failed to start!?"

I am not real sure how I got to this point. I recently downloaded several updates from windowupdates database, but none of them relate to this type of problem? Can someone help resolve this problem?

Hi
There is an article in the knowledge base - doing a search using WMI errors" and one of the article from memory covers your issue
