Loss of Target Window function

I dont seem to have a problem in Searching the Web and Mail and News
but following a friends suggestion I tried the Fred Langa Browsertune
as part of a PC springclean and tidyup.
I've got WinXP SP2 IE6/OE6 and full Win Updates.

I failed on the fourth basic test, Loss of Target Window Function, and
cant proceed with further tests.

It suggested I did Run regsvr32 actprxy.dll + regsvr32 shdocvw.dll and
both were successful (Whatever that means) but it changed nothing.

Do I have a problem and what should I do to help the PC pass this test?

It seems I do have a problem and it may be related to the above.
Some pages selected from my Favorites do not connect at that time and
the message says This page cannot be displayed.
Other pages I can see but there is a message at the top
a box with a blue letter i and the text 'The page cannot be displayed'
but is is displayed for me to read it.
