Somme Web Sites un-viewable saga continues....

After installing XP2 I noticed a few web pages won't load.
www.walmart.com is one of these un-viewable sites.

Upon first loading the page is blank and the source files of ALL of
these sites are exactly the same. I will copy the source file below.

***********************************************************************
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!--
var mUpTime=new Date(0);
RealOpenWindow = window.open ;
function RecordMUpTime(){mUpTime = new Date();}
function MyWndOpen(url,name,attribute)
{
if(mUpTime)
{
var openTime=new Date();

openTime.setTime(openTime.getTime()-mUpTime.getTime());
if ( openTime.getSeconds() < 2 )
return(RealOpenWindow(url,name,attribute));
}
}
function NoError(){return(true);}
function moveTo(){return true;}
function resizeTo(){return true;}
onerror=NoError;
window.open=MyWndOpen;
//-->
</script>
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
<!--
if(document.layers){document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEUP);}
document.onmouseup=RecordMUpTime;
//-->
</script>
***********************************************************************
After re-loading the same page, the page now gets scrambled with
random characters. Re-loading again brings the blank page back up.This
toggling effect takes place on all of these un-viewable sites. The
source file is scrambled also. These web pages fill with the below
scrambled mess

2f48 í}ksÛ¸’èg«*ÿ
ÃÙë$g‹o‰‰¥)ÇI&9'ÉøŽ=™Ù½µ¥¢$ØbB‘Z’²£³{ö·ßn€ð)Jv<ŽmU"S$ˆn4?îÐÝét:?<{FÂÈ"2¦çŽ7òì

)¢_£î$ %2 èÙ@Âë.+¶?w‡åêš.Ò«vÅæ4²‰gÏ

It should be noted that each time a site like walmart is scrambled the
characters are always in the same order. Meaning every other time I
re-load the walmart site and see the scrambled page instead of the
blank page the same exact characters show up in the same exact place
and order. When I go to another un-viewable site like jcpenny the
scrambled page has different characters than the walmart site but they
stay consistent with each re-load of the scrambled jcpenny site.

It should also be noted that I use a wireless router. My daughters
computer uses Windows 2000 along with the same wireless router and
she has no problems loading the pages. I can import here source file
and my IE6 will load the page properly.

Here are more sites that are un-viewable from my XP2 computer

www.walmart.com

www.jcpenny.com

This is what I have done so far...........

Made sure no spyware was on my computer.

Made sure no virus was found

Deleted temp internet files and cookies

Put IE6 back to its default settings

Installed new scripting

Installed script debugger

Created new user account

Turned Windows Firewall off

Delete HOSTS file

Turned off wireless encryption and firewall

Re-installed XP2

Re-installed IE6 for XP2

Ran Hijackthis and deleted anything not needed

Ran these:
Regsvr32 URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
Regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
Regsvr32 mshtml.dll
Regsvr32 JSCRIPT.dll”
Regsvr32 VBSCRIPT.dll
Regsvr32 browseui.dll

Installed Opera and Firefox

**********************************
It still won't work. Any suggestions?
I think IE6 in XP2 has a bug in it. Others
with XP2 have reported being able to view
walmart, but I can't?

The problem is fixed. I had to restore the computer to a time before
XP2. Then I re-updated on update at a time. I also had to re-install
clean up and correct third party programs after the restore.

I have no idea what originally caused the problem.
