Losing wireless connection after resume

V

This is driving me insane. My wireless connection disappears when my laptop
resumes from standby. Sometimes I can just manually reconnect, other times I
get an error that Vista cannot find my network. If I restart, this will fix
the problem, but it is becoming a pain in the butt. I am new to Vista, so I
am unaware if this is an issue that can be repaired by adjusting my
settings, or if it is just another problem I will have to wait for the next
driver to release. In case this helps, here's some info:

OS: Vista Home Premium
HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop with built in wireless LAN
Linksys wireless router WRT300-N

Thanks in advance for any help,
Vanessa

Call HP if you're still under warrantee to see if they are aware of the
problem and do they have workaround or procedure for the issue.

I have a dv9000 laptop myself, but I am not using wireless at this time.

Some personal firewalls will start blocking all communications when a laptop
comes out of hibernate.

If nothing else, don't let the machine go into standby or hibernate or
extend their time period, by changing the HP dv9000 power plan.
