lose internet connection when open/close or snd/rcve windows mail

HELP Every time I open windows mail or change folders or snd/rcve I lose my
internet connection and have to log back on, any input appreciated
 
Have had same problem. Seem to have solved it by duplicating accounts ( using
"add" - don't delete originals until you make sure new ones are working).
