What I thought was a simple fix has turned into a 2 hour
wild good chase of searching Windows help, the MS website,
and Google (which has never failed me until today).

I have a computer that needs to have the "Log On To:"
field in the logon window for Win2K Pro. How do I enable
this?

if you have (e-mail address removed), it won't show.
Changing it to grtrindle will show it.

Other possibility is that you have autologon configured.

Is the computer joined to the domain?
