Logon Server

We have a W2K AD domain controller in Georgia and added
another DC in Arkansas. The two DC's talk via a VPN that
works very well. Here's the problem: When some of our
PC's in Georgia login, they are logging in through the DC
in Arkansas. Not a big deal but the login process slows
down considerably. Any ideas?

Do both DC's in both locations run DNS and are the local clients in each
site pointing to their local DNS server?

Yes. Both DC's are running DNS and the local clients point
to their local DNS servers.

Are the clients logging into the domain that houses the Global Catalog
server?

The GC server is the Georgia server.
