logon method

hey, not a major problem, but an annoying one. when i log
on, i can only do so through the logon box, not through
the user select screen as i did before. i tried
everything in the windows troubleshooting guide,
including the obvious option under user options
of "change the way users log on and off". i'm connected
to a LAN, and i was wondering if maybe one of the
security settings was overriding mine. any help would be
great.

When you used the obvious option, did you then select, "Use Welcome screen"
and click apply option?
