Logoff problems

Hello,

When I try to logoff of the guest account, I am unable to do so. When I
click on the logoff button, nothing happens. I deactivated the guest account
and activated again, but the same thing happens.

Sometimes when I am in the administrator account, I am able to logoff while
sometimes I am unable to. I also try to restart without logging off but that
does not work either.

In every problematic situation, when I try to logoff or restart, nothing
happens. It seems as if the button inactive.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The problem is a background application or process is not terminating at
logoff, the solution would be to identify it. Basically, this means using
task manager (hit ctrl+shift+escape) to kill various processes in between
logoff attempts until you can isolate the culprit.

Hello,

Thanks for the response! When I do isolate the culprit and end the process,
do I have to end this process every time I want to logoff? How do I get it to
automatically logoff when I click the button?

Thanks!

Hi,

Once you know what is causing it, then we might be able to better address
it.
