Logoff User Question

We use only the default "Owner" logon, with no password. I am curious as to
what would happen if one of us carelessly clicked the "Logoff" button when
shutting down. I'm afraid to try it to find out.

Nothing at all. It will just bring you to the welcome screen.

When we turn the computer on it goes directly to the Desktop. We never see
the Welcome Screen.

That's not unusual... and it's not indicative of a problem. If there
is only one user account (other than "Administrator") and that user
doesn't have a password, I believe that it's the default
configuration.

I do understand that. The original question was what would happen if someone
carelessly clicked "Logoff" when intending to shut down. The responder said
it would just go to the Welcome Screen.

Yup. And you'd see whatever picture and name that user has in the
system and would have to click it to log back in.
