logitech wireless key board

Can I use logitech wireless keyboard for windows 98 on a windows xp computer?
If I can do I have to do something to get it to work ? I plugged it in and
nothing , I got it used so if it had a disk then I dont have it . Any help
would be great . TY

Go to the Logitech site and see if there are drivers for the keyboard on XP.

Most keyboards (wired or wireless) should would with the default
standard drivers. Only use the Logitech one (if available) if you
would like to use the "enhanced" features of the keyboard.

It is always best to install the driver BEFORE you plug in the
hardware. The PC needs to associate the correct driver with the
correct device. By plugging in the device first it may be difficult
(at least for a beginner) to undo the incorrect association. Check
the Device Manager list.

Your wireless device should work on most any computer (purchased in
the last 5 years) provided you have the physical ports required by
the wireless device.

Most, sure, and the key is "should work". But not in this case. So
taking the next step would be to use a driver specifically designed for it.
