Is there an issue between SP2 and the Logitech Cordless USB Mouse? Bought a
new laptop and the mouse which worked perfectly well under Win 98 does't
seem to work at all in the SP 2 enviornment. Updated the driver to no avail.
The latest driver listed on Logitech's site is dated January of 2004,
obviously pre-SP2.

Cordless means battery power, so is/are the battery/(ies) up? Have you tried
plugging the wireless receiver into a different USB port?

None whatsoever. I am using an MX700 and it works fine with SP2. Whatever
issues you're having have nothing whatsoever to do with the SP. Are the
batteries fully charged?

Thanx for the help. Solved the problem and got the mouse running.

I had a similar problem.
I uninstalled all the Logitech software and let it run on the default
XP .... worked fine then.
