Login window question

I recently changed my password for Administrator. Now, the Login window
comes up with the normal places for the name and password but there is
another message window that displays that says the password or username
is incorrect, that it is case-sensitive, etc.

Any idea what is going on and what I need to change to get my Login
window back without it trying to autolog itself?

Thanks

At some stage you set your PC to log on automatically. It is
still doing it and it is still using the old password you recorded
at that stage. I recommend you make a note of how you did it
so that you can easily fix the problem next time. Here are two
possible methods - you need to find out which one you chose
on your own PC:
a) You might have installed TweakUI. If so then there is a
shortcut in the Control Panel.
b) You might have launched the Control Panel / Users and
unticked the box that requires users to enter a password.
Put the tick mark back again.
