Login welcome screen - multiple users

Hi all
Have a Dell desktop machine with Windows XP professional.
Have had it a few years and it had to go in for repair (not by Dell, outside
warranty).
Repairers said the O/S was fubar, and needed to reinstal it. I said fine.
All data was backed up anyway.
The machine has been delivered back to me with just one account set up, in
name of Administrator, with full administrator rights, no password.
I installed all the updates from the internet, and then set up separate user
accounts for family members.
I also disabled user switching, and enabled the simple welcome screen, with
the intention that when I switch on the machine I should get prompted with
the user names that the user can then select by mouse click.
I also password protected the Administrator account.

Problem:
Every time I reboot, it logs straight into the Administrator account
(bypassing prompt for password).
If I then log off, it then presents the expected welcome screen.

Any ideas what I need to do so that it presents the welcome screen on
reboot, without defaulting to the administrator account?

Thanks.
