Welcome Screen not displayed on Startup

When I startup my computer the Welcome Screen is not displayed with my user
accounts. Instead I am automatically signed-on to Administrator (no
password).
How can I get the Welcome Screen to display

I gave Administrator a password, and then on startup the Administrator Logon
was displayed but disabled and a message was displayed saying the logon
failed.

It depend on what XP Version you have XP Home/Pro?.
Open a Run Command and type i:
control userpasswords2 click [OK]
On the User accounts Click on Users and make sure this box is checked:
[ ] Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.

Also click Start >> Control panel >> Double click User Accounts and check
this box:
[ ] Use the welcome screen.

If you assign the Built-in Administrator a password and you are using it to
log in you will get this error.
Try to create another Account with Admin privileges and see if 6the error
will occur with this Account/profile.
Read this carefully:
Error Message: Unable to Log You on Because of an Account Restriction

This for XP pro if you have it:
