Can you be more specific about what you mean?
I don't quite "get" what you are saying.

for some reason when i type my address like MFEMFEMFEMF, or the zip code, as
soon as i hit enter the letters ane numbers change to mfmfmfmfm, i think it
must change my passwords also because i can't login to my ebay or other sites
like this. I 'm not to good with computers so any info would really help,
thanks

see what i mean i typed in the name of my town in my repley and as you can
see it posted mfmfmfmfm but only in caps.

The reason you're seeing that behavior is because you have
McAfee Internet Security Suite and its Privacy Service
installed on your computer. Privacy Service will replace any
personal information you enter online with strings of MFE.

You can either disable the service or contact McAfee support
for assistance.

Wow - that's an annoying feature.
Although a little "learning how to use the tools" works in this case as
well.

Thanks for the info, Nepatsfan!

You're welcome.

It's an "annoying" feature only if you're logged on with an
account that's not an "Administrator" of the program. The
Administrator gets a prompt asking if the personal info should
be sent. I suppose if you're a parent trying to keep the kids
safe it's a great feature.

As for "learning how to use the tools", are you suggesting that
computer users should actually try to become familiar with the
programs that are installed on their systems? How would they do
that? Do you think they could consult some sort of help feature
within the program? Or maybe they should read the "mfemfe"
manual?

Now that I think about it, the McAfee suite actually includes
something you don't see very much any more, a "User Guide". And
wouldn't you know it, right there on page 82 it explains what
happens when a user that is not an "Administrator" tries to
send personal info. It looks like they've changed things a
little for 2006. The info now gets replaced with strings of
mcgdog. I guess all those MF's were a little too suggestive of
what users were screaming when they found they couldn't log on
to their favorite web sites :)
