Login Problems

When I go to a web site which requires me to log in, it
loads fine, but I enter my username and password and it
seems like the page just refreshes and it doesn't advance
beyond the login page. When I enter an incorrect username
or password, it will tell me so, but if the details are
correct, nothing happens and I can't log in. It only
happens on some sites, while some are still available.
This has been an ongoing problem for a while now and I'm
posting a message here as a last resort.

Please help!
