Login Problem

Hello,

I have a home network with 2 - laptops and 1 - desktop and two printers. I
have DSL with static IP where it is forwarded to my desktop for remote
access. All workstations are running Windows XP - Pro.

My son who lives in another state, I created a user id on the desktop with
limited access (read/ browse and execute). I tweak th local policies and
everything I can think of, but when he try to use the id to login he is
getting the error message "you do not have access to login to this session".
What did I miss?

Please help and thanks.

Mike

if you are using a vpn connection then :
you want to check 1st that you don`t have any remote access policy on the
desktop
and if you have you need to check if grant permission to access the machine
another thing you need to check is that he using the same authentication
methode chap or ms_chap and the protocl that used same
you can check for the protocol the client used by right click on the vpn
connection and select networking and choose to be automatic .please inform me
if its not working so we can help
send me at (e-mail address removed)

thanks
