After loging on, I get an error that says: Userinit Logon Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. Nothing comes up on the desktop. The only thing I have access to is the Task Manager.
try loging on to safemode and go to start run msconfig and go to the startup
tab and uncheck what you don't need at start up and then reboot. That might
help you out. MIGHT!

It doesn't show start or icons in safe mode. It does the same thing.
