login account restrictions

anyone know how to limit a login accout on 2k sevrer to 12
simultanious logins. i want it to limit it to that many.

There is not built in limit, there is a tool named connect.exe in windows
server reskit tools to use together with sql server to control this. I'm not
sure you can control the number of sessions with that tool, give it a try.

But for security this is one of the most bad setups you can do, why do you
want to use same account for 12 physical different users, please explain and
we may can found a better solution of the main problem.
