logging onto windows xp pro

I installed the ms .net framework, but now when my
computer starts up it goes to the welcome screen and I
have to click my name. I dont want it this way. I want
my computer to just start up like it always has.

I have tried everything I can think of to reverse this
but short of removing the .net framework

its for w2k but should also work for XP, backup the registry before editing.
