Logging in to a specific website

I hope someone can help...for the last two days my computer will not let me
login to my Craigslist website user account or forum. After I type in my
login and password and press Log In, the information just clears from the
fields. I also tried creating a new account, but same thing happened when I
tried to login. I think this maybe a computer security settings issue, but
have tried a number of things and it still won't resolve. Also, at many
websites I visit, my computer keeps popping up with security certificate
warnings. I don't know why this is happening all of a sudden. How do I reset
my security settings. This is not a problem I have encountered on any other
websites where login is required. Thank you for any help.

What is the exact word for word certificate error?

And check the time and date on your PC clock, as that is one thing that can
cause browser certificate errors, which usually relate to web sites that use
HTTPS://.

When you access Craigslist, are you using, or does it try to redirect to, a
URL that begins with HTTPS:// ?

Yes, it redirects me to a url that begins with https://
Someone suggested a different browser, so I downloaded Mozilla and now it
works fine. So, I'm guessing the issue was with internet/msn explorer and
security.
