Logging attempted logins

Edmund

Hi,

Just wondering if any of you know if there's a way to log
(keep track of) attempted logins. I want to make sure I
know when someone else is attempting to login to my
computer for remote desktop. Any help would be
appreciated. I'm thinking I might need to get some type
of software firewall and log any attempts on the remote
desktop port.

Thanks

Yes, you can audit System Logon Successes and Failures using Group
Policy (take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=300549) for
general information.
