Log off problems

Hi there,
I log on (remote) as user x to another computer over a network, to log on
(remote) as user y to that computer I have to select log off (local) from the
start menu and log back on (local) again, then log on (remote) as user y.
Is there a way of doing this without logging on and off (local) ?

Here you've hit on a perplexing quaetion I've wondered-about for a long time.

If you issue

NET USE * /DELETE /YES

it should then allow you to connect under a new identity. However, this
works on some computers but not on others.

Why? anyone know?
