Locking a master setup in Powerpoint 2003

Is it possible to create a template in Powerpoint and lock it for changes
other than textwriting?
I want to create a ppt master where people cannot change font, fontsize,
position of text etc, but only edit the text. Is that possible?

No, afraid not.

As Steve says it can't be done. However it would be possible (probably) to
write a vba routine that would put every back to how you wanted it (without
changing any text)

True, true.

But you'd have to be sure the user's security settings didn't prohibit the
macros from running. If they don't allow the code to run, they'd be able to do
whatever they like.
