local hard drive

Any advice on how to default address my new h.d.. It is
being renamed everything except c:. It now is E:, my zip
is C:,my cd-rom is D:, and my floppy is still a:. I start
performed a clean install and still won't address it as
c:.
 
Remove the zip drive and other extraneous devices, such as
printers and scanners while doing the clean install.
