How do I remap D and E drives?

I'm using Win XP. My drives are currently mapped as follows:

Hard disks: C, F, G.
CD Rom Drive: D
DVD drive: E

I have many movie files on my hard drive G which I like to duplicate to an external DVD disc. I'm using CDBurner 4.0 Unfortunately, CDBurner will only burn to drive D.

When I insert the DVD external disc in drive D and then click Burn, CDBurner complaines that it is not a valid because my drive D being a CD Rom drive wónt allow a DVD disc there.

Any help how I can transfer my video clips form G to a external DVD disc.

Thanks

Is this the burning program here ? Does the drive show in the
Recorder Info ? Is the DVD drive in the "tested drives list" ?

You have to move the drive off of letter D before you can put a different
drive on it. To do so: Right click on My Computer and then left click on
Manage. Left click on Disk Management. In the window that opens, find the
CD Rom drive (probably listed as CD-ROM 0 in the bottom right window.)
Right click on the drive (CD-ROM 0 or whatever is displayed for that drive)
and then left click on "Change drive letter and paths. Click Change and
then from the dropdown list choose any available letter. Click OK. Once
that has finished, OK back to the Disk Management window and then choose the
DVD drive and do the same for it. You should now have drive D available
because you moved your CD drive off of that letter so use D for the DVD
drive. You can leave your CD drive where you put it or you can then move it
to drive E using the same method.

Hope this helps, let us know.
