Local computer shuts down when I access other XP machine using RDP

I am running Windows XP Pro and when I connect to another XP Pro machine via
RDP using VPN my machine restarts. I have this similar setup for approx 5
other machines and this is the only one that causes my system to reboot.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
