Hi,
Try some cleaning up...
First, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and
delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often recommended that
the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

Clear the Internet Explorer History.

You may have a troublesome browser add-on.
See: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp
for troubleshooting information.

A security/provacy program running in the background may be causing this.
Disable
(for diagnostic purposes) programs such as pop-up blockers, toolbars,
security, anti-virus, etc. Take a look at any program that might be
interacting with IE. You may have to reinstall, or not reinstall, a program.

A firewall might be causing this problem, *be sure* to turn on the Windows
Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall before disabling a third-party
firewall or security suite during testing.

As a repair, of sorts, download and run ie-rereg from
http://iefaq.info/index.php?action=artikel&cat=24&id=31&artlang=en

Or, this may be a malware problem- adware, spyware, hijacker, trojan, etc.

Hi Vince,
IE6 cannot be uninstalled from XP and installing IE7 will probably not
resolve these problems.

Try...
As an attempted repair, of sorts, download and run ie-rereg from
http://iefaq.info/index.php?action=artikel&cat=24&id=31&artlang=en

But, these multiple problems sound like the result of malware infection(s)

Start at
http://forum.aumha.org/viewtopic.php?t=4075 Then go to
http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm Work through the preliminary cleaning
steps then post a HijackThis log to the forum at
