Loading personal settings takes FOREVER

I have XP Home at home with three user profiles loaded. When any of us
clicks on our name on the welcome screen to log on it takes approximately 1
minute for personal settings to load. Is there a fix for this or is it
something I will just have to live with? It hasn't always been this slow.

Try this.... Log into each profile....Click on start ->
run . A box will appear. Type "msconfig" and press enter.
A box will appear...click on the startup tab.... NOw go
through and deselect all or most of that shit that is
getting loaded on startup..... More than likely that is
your problem.
