When I start up the PC I get a message window stating 'Loadapp Fail' . When
I close the window everything else appears to be OK and I can continue
normally.
I have tried searching for a Loadapp file without any luck and would
therefore appreciate any help in preventing the unwanted message from
appearing every time I start up the PC.

Other than that it is leftover from a cleanup?

Run Ad-Aware SE, Spybot and HijackThis:

Note: Update the first two programs, once installed, before running.

If still no help, read the log file here:

What is the application that is failing to load?
This should be stated somewhere on the window, either as a
link to open a secondary window or other text in box. Either
a dll, exe or other namefile will be quoted.

Thanks for the message regarding the problems I am having with a 'Loadapp'
error window.
To answer your question I do not know what application is failing to load
properly although I do at present have a problem with no sound.
The window itself doesn't give much clues - it is simply a small box that
states a Load error and has a red circle with white cross on it.
The only option available is to close the window down and right clicking on
the window etc does not give any further information as to the application or
file etc.

Regards - Rob.
