Please someone out there HELP. I click on the live links
in my email and get an ERROR box. I then have to copy and
paste the link to my address bar to get where I'm going.
I called comcast who is my server and they gave me a new
identity and also deactivated my Norton antivirus, but
that did not work. They now suggest I call Microsoft and
perhaps uninstall and then reinstall outlook express. I
am just learning about computers and would really
appreciate some kind advice EllaSophia.

Hi,

Close Internet Explorer and Outlook Express if either are open.

Start/run "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotes)

Control panel/Internet options/programs tab, click on "reset all web
settings"

Reopen and retry the links in Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.

Installing the latest Cumulative Patch for IE *may* solve the problem as a
side-effect. Check in at Windows Update.
