Liteon CD/RW Code 10

Hello !
I'm trying to install a new CD/RW from Liteon. I'm
unsure about the master/slave settings and I keep getting
a CODE 10 - Unable to start error message. Thank-you for
your help.

If you have only the 1 ide cable (flat 1 with red stripe)
and the PC is newish (say under 12mths) then cable select
should be best. The Hard disk should also be set as cable
select. It doesn't matter which is on the end (Master) as
long as the bios is set to boot from it
