No, Bitdefender won't work with Linux, it's designed for Windows. No problems, don't use it with Linux.

Linux is virtually risk-free when it comes to viruses and malware although the possibility cannot be ruled out.

I've never used AV software with any Linux Distro but I understand there are Linux AV software programs available should you wish to choose that option.

I put Sophos onto my daughter's Linux system a few years back and she has had no problems with it. This, of course, does not necessarily mean that it has been Sophos that has kept her system clean but at least there have been no interactions with other programs. :nod:
