Linksys

I have a linksys router running a wireless network along
with Verizon DSL. Operating system is XP SP1. The router
is set to always on and I can access the internet through
it with all 5 PC's but intermitently the router drops it's
connection and I have too reset everything to get it back
on line. Spoke with verizon and they moved me to a
different router on their end also tried a new Linksys but
still the same issue. When the DSL modem is connected
directly to the PC it works fine. No interuptions. Any
thoughts?

It's either Verison's service (and given they took action for you, they
probably have some idea of cause, I would guess), or the Linksys. I
suspect there is no problem with the Linksys; although you may wish to
check if your box has the most recent software installed (check
Linksys's web site).
