Linksys HPNA Network Problem

My wife's computer crashed, burned and was reformatted (WIN XP Home). I have
a home network using the Home Phone Network Alliance adapter in her computer
(Linksys HPN200) and tried to reinstall it. The computer will not Plug and
Play recognize the card, and, while the Device Manager says all is well with
the driver, when I look at Network Connections, I see a red X and a message
" A Network Connection is Unplugged". I checked the line with a phone and it
is fine.

What am I missing? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
 
Hi Fred,

I had the same issues here with RR and two of my systems. The onboard
failed, added a NIC card, failed, moved it to another slot, AMEN!. BTW,
wireless worked just great throughout the testing process. Good luck and
keep us posted.
