Links (URLS) in emails (OE) don't open window or load. Help!

The past few days, when I click on links (URLS) in my email (Outlook Express), nothing happens. No window opens up, nor does it load into another window already opened. Basically, nothing happens at all. I have Win XP Home edition. I've never had this problem before. What can I do to fix it? Thanks.

Hyperlinks don't open:

Also, if you have a link open via OE, but minimized, it usually will not
open a second.
