links crash

On many links, that I click on, instead of going to where
the link points the screen will revert back to the desktop.
I have tried many times on the same links on different
days and different months and it will always do the same
thing. I frequently run into new links that do this. It
sure makes surfing an iffy game.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.


Rule out parasites.
