Linking to multi-page Excel file from Word

I've got a spreadsheet with 1000 rows on it that I would like to embed in
word. When I try this it will only embed the object so that it appears on one
page.
Is there any way to embed this so that it appears over multiple pages in word?
 
Copy the part of the sheet you want to include to the clipboard, then edit >
paste special > as html format > check the 'Paste link' box.
