Linking emails to opportunities

When I highlight a particular email and indicate that I want to link it to a
record I am asked what I want to link it to. I indicate an opportunity and
then select the opportunity. However, when I go to that particular
opportunity I cannot find where it is linked. Can anyone help me "find"
those mail messages in the history of the opportunity?

Hi Chris,
First of all you need to highlight the opportunity name, double click on it
and make sure it shows up in the "Linked Records" box and click ok, than
(this is probably where it went wrong) when you close out the email and it
asks you if you want to save changes - click YES. If you click no, than it
will not be saved in the opportunity.
