How to add a Prdukt to a Opportunity in vb.net?

Hello,

i try to have some automations for my BCM.
i have a small code to add a opportunity and link it to an account. Now i want to add a produkt to the opportunity but i did not get the way how to do.
Please help me top find answers to the following quetions:

1) Why does the name of the linked account not be show in the opportunity page?
2) How to add a Product to a opportunity in vb.net?
