Sorting selecting opportunities with specific "Product and service" items

Hello all,

New to BCM 2003 so forgive me if I ask stupid questions. We have a
large number of opportunities created and each of these opportunities
has a number (3 or 4 "Products and services" associated with them. We
have a "coding" system to identify the product or service and I would
like to search all opportunities that contain a particular
product/service. Put simply, I want to add a field to the opportunity
view that allows me to group, search and sort by the "Item Names"
associated with an opportunity.

Does that make sense?

Thanks

Stuart

Lon,

Yes, I thought that was comming! Its just that you can generate a
report from within BCM that is exactly what I need, "Oppurtunities by
product and service", then there is a tantalising option in the "Modify
report" which allows you to filter against the "Item name". I thought I
might be able to get it into the normal view and then group by that
field.

As to upgrading to BCM 2007, in principle thats fine BUT I currently
use SBS 2003 and users use outlook 2003. A limited number have the BCM
2003 installed and that is configured to attach to the database on the
SBS server. This all works fine. If I upgrade to 2007, what else will I
need to upgrade? Will it work with Outlook 2003 connected to the
exchange server on SBS 2003?

Thanks

Stuart
