Link to email won't work

When I click on email link in web site Home Page, I get this error message:

"Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not
properly installed"

Help appreciated.

What email client are you using?

Check that your "default email client" is installed properly - this is the
program you use to send email ; eg outlook, thunderbird, outlook Express
etc.

I am a novice, obviously, but have tried everything I've been able to find
on how to install my "default email client" correctly, without success. Can
you recommend a site where I can get specific instructions as to how to do
it. My website is <archmartin.com> and I'm using "AT&T Yahoo! Mail -
(e-mail address removed) - Windows Internet Explorer" to receive my email.
Frustrated, needless to say!

mailto: links often don't work with web based mail. One reason to use a
contact form, rather than mailto:. Another reason is the amount of SPAM
mailto: links attract.
