link bar

I can not get the navigation bar to show up on the home page. Just the
message to edit link bar properties. I have set index.htm as teh home page.
I can see index.htm in the folders and in the navigation structure. When I
tell it to insert navigation based on the structure it does not 'see' the
home page. How do I fix this? I tried putting in a custom bar but all the
bars have the "page name.htm" showing on the bars. I don't want the htm. and
a 2nd ghost structure is on the navigation page. I'm very new to websites and
Front Page so speak lowly.

You have to add the pages in Navigation view, right now you will probably only see on yellow Home Page represented there...you can right click and Add Existing Page (you do this for all your pages) then drag them around into the structure you want.

Theres more, but this will get you started...my machine is about to crash so I gotta post this quick.
