Limited User Can't Play Game

U

Uncle

I have a Windows XP Home Edition and I am trying to give
a limited user the ability to play his game. In the way
it is now any administrative account can play the game as
the CD must be In the CD rom. drive for license issue.
The limited account user gets error message that the
license cannot be read off the CD therefore cannot be
played. I have given the account permission to access all
files involved in this game. I tried sharing The CD drive
and that only allowed the administrative accounts in the
on the share and did not share it with the limited
account, which needed as the other accounts can already
play the game. It would be easy just to give that
particular account administrative privilege, but this is
for a young guy who thinks he is an Administrator and is
not afraid to use his power in reconfiguring the whole
networked system.
Thanks

Unfortunately, the copy protection technology used in a lot of games
requires admin rights to run.

You can try the "Run As" command but its still going to require that an
administrator's password is typed each time.
