limit Terminal Service resource per session

Hi,

Is there any configuration for Terminal server that
would automaticall limited the amount of server resouce
each session allows to have. Our Terminal Server is
running very extremely slow lately. I try to find out what
causing the issue.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciates.

No, there's no native utility that does this, as far as I know.
You will have to do some performance monitoring.
Have you checked in Task Manager on the Terminal Server? Maybe
there's a single process which monopolizes the CPU? That's quite
common for 16-bit applications.

You should also be able to see if it is memory or CPU that's
causing the performance problem.

If Task Manager doesn't reveal the cause of the problem, you can
use System Performance monitor, and check other resources, like
page file usage, disk IO system, etc.

Which OS are you running on the TS?
Which role does it have in your domain? DC or member server?
Does it have other server roles as well? Exchange, SQL, etc?

What has changed on the server right before it started to become
slow? installed any applications? Service Pack?
Is it always slow, for all users, or only during peak hours? or
during logon? or only for certain sessions, but not all sessions
on the same server?
