Hi,

I have been told that if I install Terminal Serv in
application mode on my windows 2k server machine I can
have 200 people connect to it without purchasing
licensing. the only thing is that these 200 people have
to be windows 2000 clients.

Is that true?

Yes.
To be more precise: you can have an unlimited number of clients, as
long as the clients run W2K Pro or XP Pro (not Home Edition).
If your hardware allows 200 client connections is a totally different
question....

You also need to install and activate a TS Licensing Server on the
Domain Controller (this is free), because it is the LS that issues
the free TS Client Access Licenses to the W2K and XP Pro clients.
