Lexmark Z35 won't print

I have checked the following:
a.printer is the the default printer
b. only one program installed
c. Check USB Bus
d. Stated Local Server
e. uninstall and reinstalled Lexmark Z35 program
f. Reviewed Troubling shooter for Window XP
1. Everything ok
I have read in today MS Newgroup, people have had
trouble printing.

Please advise. thank you

Please explain what you mean by "Local Server". Is the printer attached to
your own PC - in which case it is a local printer, or to a Server or a Print
Server over a network.

There are fewer problems being posted in the printer newsgroups today than
most days... due tothe fact that many folks have not visited the
WindowsUpdate site and downloaded and installed the Critical Updates that
would have prevented the RPC MBlast Worm infecting their PCs.

In fact, it's been quite quiet in here for a change. Folk that have
installed the Critical Updates have not been affected by it.
