Lexmark Z35

I'm not able to print the yellow with the Lexmark Z35 printer on Windows
2000.

If I try to print a yellow background i.e. on a word document, I obtain
an intense orange.

Is the same with all the program that i have tried.

The modification on the 'quality options' of the driver have not influence.

Do you have some ideas?

thanks

It is depends on which yellow did you use.
If your display are not calibration right,
it is possible to your out put are orangish yellow.
all colors have very wide range.

this is good source of about color (under color fundamentals)

check your application's color(which yellow did you use).
check your printer color calibration.

anyway here is Info from Lexmark
"Not Printing Colors Correctly"
http://support.lexmark.com/cgi-perl...:1:0:338:0:0&emeaframe=&docid=477&relevance=1

1.. Click Start, Programs, Lexmark Zx, Lexmark Zx Solution Center (or Control Program).
2.. Click the Print Cartridges icon (or Cartridge tab).
3.. Click Clean Cartridges Nozzles. A page is printed using the color and black cartridges. The colors that you should
see here are black, yellow,
magenta (a reddish purple) and cyan (a dark sky blue).
4.. If your colors are not correct, run the Clean Cartridges Nozzles function again.
5.. If the colors still do not correct themselves, try another cartridge.

I had already controlled how you say to me.
Anyway, I have acquired one new cartridge - 26 € :-( - and the problem
is disappeared.

Probably the first cartridge had the yellow polluted by the red.

Both the cartridges were new and original by Lexmark.

Thank you for your help.
